Good luck, Weave. If they keep you in ask for a laptop to give us your posts!

All the best, Pat. Thursday morning - when the eyepatch comes off and you'll look out of the window - you'll be in awe, full of wonderment. And happy.

If I haven't mentioned it before, and it's what I did since you are awake during the procedure, ask if one of the nurses could hold your hand. The human touch not only comforting but serving as a conduct [as in physics].

Cheering you on,
U

See you later Weave. A Specialist keeping you in would be a first and there'd never be a bed available. Don't forget to tell him you eat porridge every day.

So you'll be reading these comments with one eye. I'm sure your surgery will go just fine. Enjoy all the eye drops!

Good luck from me too.
Ursula's suggestion of holding a hand sounds like a very nice idea.

Best of luck! It may all be done by now and hopefully you will be home soon.

My thoughts are with you. A day surgery is nothing complicated and is over quickly. That's the ideal. Talk to you soon.

I think the majority of people have forgotten that you changed the date of the eye thingy. Or maybe I am the only person who has some memory cells left. Or I'm nuts too.

Yes, the eye op. was deferred in order for an important meeting with the specialist today.
