Weather.

Steel grey sky, strong wind which is not blowing from a friendly direction, water pouring down the window pane, and the BBC weather map showing  a SLOW MOVING batch of rain which I will swear is centred over my bungalow.   Central heating is on and set to come on at 21  and I just heard it click on.  What chance of cricket today - anyone like to hazard a guess?   Yes, I know the Test Match is not being played in my back garden but that slow-moving rain band was pretty wide.

Oh dear! We had a miserable day yesterday and today didn't sound much better, but fortunately for us it has turned out not too bad. Lots of wonderful cloud formations and a strong breeze but no rain and quite a bit of sunshine. I hope it will be your turn tomorrow.

It's nice to be cozy indoors when it's a wet mess outside. Enjoy your books, music, computer, and TV that take you around the world in the comfort of your sweet home!

It's hot (30*C), humid, and sunny here.

Hugs!

Same weather as Heather here after a wet afternoon/evening yesterday and pleasantly warm as well. Looking at the cricket at 15.30, it appears to be a lost cause for England, thanks to the wet, up north weather.
Just been out to a National Trust house and was very impressed with a flowering dahlia there by the name of "Pooh" - will be ordering some this winter for next year.

I like imaginng a moving batch of weather. Thankfully it did not move its way eastwards to bombard us.

Hot, hot,hot here. We worked outside and rejoiced when a cloud moved in front of the sun...ugh. Aren't you glad to be able to cozy up inside?

The weather seems to move in extremes. That said, today was mild, no humidity, beautiful blue sky and sunshine. Only a few days ago, we had torrential rains with high heat.

Day is over here and we are under a rumbling thunderstorm!

My oldest played (and won) his Cricket match on Saturday in light rain. We had a storm last night, part of which fell as huge lumps of hail. We were lying in bed expecting the Velux window to smash. It was quite scary.

Rain and dark clouds greeted us when we got off the train in Harrogate last night. 11 C outside as we speak, and not much warmer in the cottage - central heating is not on, but we‘ll ask our landlords to do that.
A spot of sun lights up the church opposite my bedroom window. It feels like autumn, and I can‘t wait to get out.

All I see is the rain drops spattering in the puddles most days. But when the sun does come out early morning, a shaft of light stretches across the garden over the road and the eye moves past the flats, tree line and then to the blue sky, I am happy. But it is cold in West Yorkshire!

This morning the sun is shining, everything in my garden looks happy after its good soaking. Sad England couldn't finish the Test Match - I really think we would have won it and with one more to go then the best we can hope for is a draw so Australia retain The Ashes - but Ben Stokes spoke so well when the match was abandoned - well done England accepting the result in gool old English spirit.

Aren't we all in good spirits at the sun this morning. Thanks as usual for your comments.

Not in good spirits here this morning Pat, we have the weather that you had yesterday - a cold wind, grey skies and rain, feels like March.
