Here are the photographs which I could not get at yesterday.   The fact that there is absolutely no grass to speak of speaks of the cold, wintry weather we are still having.   Although things are coming out as though it is Spring - we are still in Winter woollies.

It looks lovely and peaceful and it's still early spring, so plenty of time for new growth. We're going for a walk at a nature reserve walk on Sunday, so I'm hoping it will prove to be worth a visit. X

Gosh, just goes to show how much more advanced things are in the east.

Lovely pictures - always nice to see those drystone walls. The leaves are beginning to appear down here and it's supposed to be warming up by the weekend, it'll soon be very green everywhere.

Your garden is coming along nicely. I'm sure you will enjoy it when your weather warms. Have a great day.

At my people's house in Sussex they had a lawn that was 99% moss. It was beautiful, and hardly needed mowing. Beautiful to walk on too.

And of course the Japanese people make beautiful moss gardens, but our lawn also shows up moss and the bluebell leaves from when it was once a field and maybe a woodland. Isn't it fun planting up a new border, my Shasta daisies went in yesterday.
