What a cheery Jack O'Lantern! We are still hours away from hallowe'en activity - but I did see some little ones in costume on the street in town earlier this afternoon.
Such a lucky person to have a Halloween birthday!! Edward and I send our warmest wishes for a most Happy Birthday and a perfectly wonderful year to come!
We are shutting down the festivities here....it's raining and we are almost out of candy!!
Happy belated birthday wishes! I saw from your blog that you made the same snacks we make here on birthdays! I hope you had a great birthday! and a wonderfully "fascinating" Halloween! Not too scary, though!
We were very boring and did nothing about Halloween, but we did have a lump of squishy pumpkin thrown at our front window. Perhaps it was punishment for not celebrating? The farmer has made a wonderful job of carving your pumpkin.
I am a widow for the second time - first marrriage 39 years, second marriage 23 years - both very happy. My second marriage was to a farmer and when he died the farm was sold. I now live in the nearby small town on the edge of Wensleydale in The Yorkshire Dales. My beloved Border Terrier died a couple of years ago - I still miss her but as I am 90 and need carers I shalln't get another I have one son,who lives nearby with his wife, three grandchildren, one step grandchild, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren..Life is good.

Happy Halloween, we had ours yesterday, lots of children stopped by last night, thank goodness for chocolate muffins...
Happy Halloween, I love the pumpkin.

Great pumpkin as usual. For anyone reading who (obviously) couldn't see it in the flesh, it looked great outside in the dark.
