A Short Post today.
I feel in no mood to post anything on my blog today other than to say Rest in Peace Jo Cox, MP, loving wife, adored mother and one of the honest, straightforward Members of Parliament genuinely working for the good of everyone regardless of race, colour or creed.
One of the few M.P.'s genuinely working for the good of others, both nationally and internationally, and not simply there to feather her post Parliament nest. Why do the good ones always go first. An absolute tragedy.
ReplyDeleteAn appalling tragedy. My thoughts are with her husband and family.
ReplyDeleteShe walked in the light but her deranged killer lived in darkness.
ReplyDeleteAn appalling tragedy. Terrible!

I was so upset to read this.
ReplyDeleteTragedy.

Too much hatred, to an extent I blame the media who feed on this and spread it.
ReplyDeleteMuch sadness this week.
ReplyDeleteJo Cox's murder is such a loss. I am hoping that other energetic, caring, wise and talented other young people will wish to enter into public service. Not necessarily into the political arena, but yes, I do hope they will be brave and dedicated and go for it.
ReplyDeleteSurely the voters will recognize the difference between them and what has been on offer for far too long.

Now that 'Mental Homes' are no longer seen as being politically correct, or just too expensive, I'm afraid we can expect such maniacs to be walking the streets at all times. When, or if, they pounce can never be predicted.
ReplyDeleteSuch an appalling thing to happen, she had such enthusiasm, and so much to offer. My heart goes out to her husband and those two small children.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking what Cro said.
ReplyDeleteHeartbreaking....our world is going a bit mad. Bless her family.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the way Yorkshire Pudding has put it, don't you?
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone. We all stand together on this.
Such sadness!
