The Farmer

A brief note to say that The Farmer passed away
peacefully and gently in hospital this evening.   I shall miss him terribly but would not have wished him to be here any longer with this terrible disease.   Thank you to you all for your thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks.

  26. I wish I could find the words to comfort you but I don't know how to make the pain go away if only for a minute. Hold on to your memories in time the pain will leave a space for them and they are the comfort that is probably lost to you right now. My thoughts are with you, having walked that way I know how valuable it was to have the knowledge I was not alone.

  107. Oh, my dear Weaver! I am so very, very sorry. I had thought about you all morning (not yet knowing about this post) and how I wanted to thank you for keeping us included in this part of your life's journey. Over a period of I don't know how long you have let us participate in your trips to meeting your friends, in your observations of the nature around you, your 'drive-abouts' with the farmer and much, much more. We have laughed alongside you and pondered things alongside you. When you and the farmer got the terrible news you allowed us the knowledge of what was going on. We worried alongside you. We are now all grieving with you. You are right that long suffering is horrible. My thoughts are with you and I send you many blog-hugs during this difficult time. If it's o.k. with you please let us know how you are getting on in the time to come.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thank you for thinking about us when everything must seem upside down.

Will be thinking about you. Sue
