The cakes are amazing - I'd love to order one for a summer celebration. I had never heard of scotch eggs until you recently began talking about them - so I had to look them up - they sound good - we don't have anything even the least bit close to that in the US.JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-9239456715845203472016-06-19T06:56:34.968-07:002016-06-19T06:56:34.968-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Shilpahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08181636942039727663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-1391196734829479282016-06-19T01:39:30.751-07:002016-06-19T01:39:30.751-07:00I do love a local food festival showcasing local t...I do love a local food festival showcasing local talent and local produce :-) Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05213759909336433460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-10548467671287136402016-06-19T00:43:02.326-07:002016-06-19T00:43:02.326-07:00Barbara - Scotch eggs are hard-boiled eggs wrapped...Barbara - Scotch eggs are hard-boiled eggs wrapped in sausage meat and then deep fried. One critic likens him to Richard Deakin so I think you may enjoy his books. I have just read Meadowland - The Private Life of and English Field, and am now reading The Running Hare which tells of his attempt to grow the right wild flowers and plants in a rundown meadow in order to encourage hares to breed there. I am enjoying both immensely and thought of you when I came across them.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-4817389310804080542016-06-18T18:31:14.504-07:002016-06-18T18:31:14.504-07:00What a neat festival! It follows an Italian (American born) baker and his family business in New York and you see a lot of theme related cakes, all done with that fondant icing.
