Sadly, they fail to remind us that pests, diseases and the weather itself may all get at our crops before we have a chance to. It won't deter me though, and I shall be filling my containers with fresh compost as soon as the soil starts to warm up. It's surprising how many pickings of beans, etc., you can get from a half barrel and how many seedlings can be raised in a tiny greenhouse. At present the door is frozen shut so I hope all is well in there.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-5170764174444224712010-01-08T08:43:52.988-08:002010-01-08T08:43:52.988-08:00Lovely poem Weaver, funny too.Lovely poem Weaver, funny too.Totalfeckineejithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05352708391465031655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-82281695404568741782010-01-08T08:35:05.234-08:002010-01-08T08:35:05.234-08:00A sweet and charming poem with lovely imagery.Fron...A sweet and charming poem with lovely imagery.Frondy ferns I like.rallentandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06980559347805844568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-2677147726380368762010-01-08T08:21:02.868-08:002010-01-08T08:21:02.868-08:00My spring bulb catalogue came, as well - such colo...My spring bulb catalogue came, as well - such colorful pictures of spring temptations!
