What a lovely sight that aconite is. I planted some a few years back but they don't like our clay soil. In spite of the low temperatures our snowdrops are very gradually showing tiny white bits. We have a 'stripey' blackbird too - it's odd how they appear some years. Your pictures are beautiful even if they are wintry - such lovely unspoiled countryside.
