It perfectly expresses your feelings - thank you for sharing it.
It reminds me of a lovely weekend, many years ago, when we stayed in a B&B in Cornwall with a rookery at the end of the garden. No need for alarm clocks!
I must remember to book myself a flu jab this year as I have changed surgeries for practical reasons - the new one is only about 100 yards from my flat.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-58122765891846890042017-10-01T01:16:25.375-07:002017-10-01T01:16:25.375-07:00We dont have rooks but love to hear the geese flyi...We dont have rooks but love to hear the geese flying over in the evening and like you would love know what they are saying to each other!Rosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10197864744061249822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-43422450435081487172017-09-30T23:47:25.053-07:002017-09-30T23:47:25.053-07:00I just love your line "Write a tune upon the ...I just love your line "Write a tune upon the wire" It lit up the most wonderful picture in my mind. I don't know whether it worksor not but it doesn't hurt and it is one way of trying to cut out the risk. I also listen to them having a conversation (through the bathroom window) as they visit the bird table. Hilarious. Why did one of your commentators ask about the flu jab? The DP and I have been invited for ours due in October. I also had some years back the pneumonia jab, which now is life long lasting, depending on your life length I guess. All free and for me a must. It always sounds as though they are catching up on the local gossip and deciding what to do with the rest of the day. I've also noticed the Robins are re-establishing their territories, resting on their favourite vantage points and singing their little hearts out.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-9849008598408570942017-09-30T11:27:56.826-07:002017-09-30T11:27:56.826-07:00I love the imagery in the poem you shared, so wond...I love the imagery in the poem you shared, so wonderful.
