Now here I am actually posting pics of myself in big old wellies yet again! They are the most important item I'm readying for the sub-Antarctic adventure. Like they say, "what goes around comes around". At least the 'old boys' on this expedition won't give rat's a-- as to what I'm wearing these days. The ash here is as strong as ever and only this week we pulled some cursed self-sets out with the tractor because they invade us if we leave them. We have had some heavy downpours but in between it has been lovely and sunny. The house martins and swallows were still here up until a few days ago but as I look for them this morning they seem to have gone. Ours seem to arrive later than yours in Yorkshire but stay longer.

Enjoy your Sunday.Rachel Phillipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16053924416805878169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-45010098180654801962011-09-18T05:40:04.654-07:002011-09-18T05:40:04.654-07:00Aye lass - the nights are drawing in!Aye lass - the nights are drawing in!mrsnesbitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16882736507772457598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-28789531232720611902011-09-18T05:09:23.219-07:002011-09-18T05:09:23.219-07:00weaver we've had morning after morning of zero...weaver we've had morning after morning of zero celsius temperatures and the trees are turning ever so slowly. does it seem sudden to you or has it arrived gradually. either way it's my favourite time of year. stevenstevenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14132104804524716898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-22217241306131449072011-09-18T02:32:23.399-07:002011-09-18T02:32:23.399-07:00I hope the ruby wedding remained high and dry.
