I have noticed hawthorn berries turning colour and the hedgerows full of dead seedheads. It was a treat to see those harebells. I remember them from my childhood in the Chilterns, along with bee orchids, wild thyme and tiny wild strawberries. I wonder what sort of winter we will get this time - hopefully a gentle autumn will arrive first.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-57150298630698198552011-07-31T06:54:01.917-07:002011-07-31T06:54:01.917-07:00Wish that were true for North America - heat is ex...Wish that were true for North America - heat is expected to continue here for a while.Bonnie Zieman, M.Ed.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00282469017360136275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-50113069368918518642011-07-31T06:46:40.801-07:002011-07-31T06:46:40.801-07:00I have the same feeling here for an early autumn, ...I have the same feeling here for an early autumn, Weaver.
