I too have finished all pressies....a good feeling! We only do most shopping for the little ones and give cash and gift cards for the big people. We enjoy the cooking and getting together more than anything as we remember the reason for the season. I would do well in your area as I love rainy days!Linda Metcalfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14706004604567190617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-90260042304844490832015-12-03T03:30:09.348-08:002015-12-03T03:30:09.348-08:00You make me quite ashamed at how behind I am!

Paid as cadets, some of us were in the same bar as those paid as Flt Sgts and Warrant Officers, they could afford real alcoholic drinks. Mind you I don't remember suffering from scurvy! Back in those days women were on 85% of the male salary, later when a friend got married his pay more than doubled with Marriage Allce. So that doing the same job with the same rank he was paid a lot more than me. Turkeys are not the bird of choice here for Christmas, the French tend to eat fattened Capons, so I need to be vigilant.Cro Magnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06840670227576695352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-51809558021267741062015-12-02T15:34:51.320-08:002015-12-02T15:34:51.320-08:00Are you referring to Rose's Lime Cordial? The gifts are all sorted but I have yet to buy the food for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It sounds as if it is raining again here after a dry but very dull day, but it is very mild.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-62712198286043789912015-12-02T13:33:23.460-08:002015-12-02T13:33:23.460-08:00I'm a fan of club soda with a twist of lime, m...I'm a fan of club soda with a twist of lime, myself!

I'm done Christmas shopping! I need to empty them out. Rain does that to me too. I can take it for a day, start getting crabby the second day and am hopelessly lost by the third day. Wish I liked it, but I don't. And that drink sounds delicious and healthy.donna bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507579686738843451noreply@blogger.com
