I much prefer the smell of muck to that.

I live far enough north across the Pond that i did not feel the full effect of Hurricane Sandy, for which i'm glad. Still, the damage is unbelievable.

We lost power for a day, a few limbs came down, and i think one or two large trees toppled in neighbouring towns, but it could have been so very much worse.megan blogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04555646904983619596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-89963084345678463762012-10-30T07:40:37.266-07:002012-10-30T07:40:37.266-07:00Thanks for the comments - you lot can't smell ...Thanks for the comments - you lot can't smell it of course, so you can afford to be kind. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-28423700255307958142012-10-30T02:20:07.416-07:002012-10-30T02:20:07.416-07:00When I was small my dad always said it was good fr...When I was small my dad always said it was good fresh country air.

Have just posted some pertinent info on the US storm and related matters under the heading WE HOLD OUR BREATHGwil Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03305768121713053837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-51682366812112095442012-10-29T23:16:59.638-07:002012-10-29T23:16:59.638-07:00I am just catching up on all your wonderful blogs ...I am just catching up on all your wonderful blogs after being away.Cattle and sheep stay outside all year round here, so muck spreading is not an operation I have experienced, but it is certainly a good farming smell.
