They also warned that they won't be sending letters again and instead there will be a poster in the surgery and information on thei website. It strikes me that this might cause many people to miss out next year - I have put a reminder on the end of my calendar to mark a date in September 2019 to arrange my jab.
My son is coming with me tomorrow to get some bags of gravel and compost - I like to have a 50/50 mix to plant my bulbs in as they hate sitting in sodden compost. I want to get them all planted before Saturday when I go away for a week.Ramblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00914227535503925006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-58860968690440098292018-09-30T14:02:57.732-07:002018-09-30T14:02:57.732-07:00My son put the compost in my tubs for me today, so...My son put the compost in my tubs for me today, so now it is put in the pansies and violas.

Thanks everyone. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-29578899599563157322018-09-30T04:34:25.773-07:002018-09-30T04:34:25.773-07:00Armchair gardeners are really landscape architects...Armchair gardeners are really landscape architects. I've given up on winter pansies, they always look amazing and colourful in the garden centre, I buy them, put them in and they promptly stop flowering. We're continuing to have lovely warm and sunny days here, after chilly starts, but the dryness is increasing by the day and a third dry winter on the trot is looking almost certain.Derek Faulknerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05140363868104172311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-1014628183654493502018-09-29T19:41:59.284-07:002018-09-29T19:41:59.284-07:00Like you, Pat, without lists, I would get little d...Like you, Pat, without lists, I would get little done. Guess that goes to sho how the different flus travel. Also our winters are different being longer. Lucky us haha. I think violas and pansies are wonderful colour for the winter. Our varieties here are hardy till -10C. Love how you write about your day to day life. I too think Sunday’s are the worst for loneliness. I am a widow of seven years.
