Although feeling a little better each day I still don't feel up to posting so am just having a trip through your posts.  Back soon!

And that is okay, too! Have a good day. Make the most of your doldrums.

Keep strong, I have had it and it took me over three weeks to finally say goodbye to it and I am not normally ill, hadn't had a cold for years. You'll be okay and it's okay to be down, it is a horrible virus.

It isn't the easiest time of year to recuperate quickly.
It's good to know you are about and reading others' writing though xx

Your only job, Pat, is to find a little joy as you take care of yourself and recover. I’m happy just seeing your post no matter how brief. We are having strange weather here on the north coast of Calif. One day cold and yucky, the next sun. There’s no warmth of course but my yard is thoroughly confused. I have two rhododendrons trying to bloom a few months early along with the narcissus and daffodils. My tulips are growing taller each day but no flowers on them as yet. Tulips are usually challenging this close to the coast because we don’t usually have enough truly cold weather to make them happy. It doesn’t seem to be a problem this year with our colder weather and frost most mornings. I’m holding onto the hope of spring to come. Enjoy your day and rest.

So sorry to hear you have been laid low by the dreaded virus and hope you will soon feel well again. I loved your previous post and am ready to fall in love with most dogs myself. I'd love one but there is a restriction on pets in the flats where I live, besides which I know I could not provide the exercise a dog needs. I unashamedly ask various dog owners if I can stroke their pets, so I can still get the odd 'doggie fix'.

Sending warm wishes for a smooth recovery. The virus is making the rounds. I guess at some point we will all experience this virus. Take care.

Look after yourself.
Your posts have lately been really interesting. A day’s rest is fully deserved.

What a nuisance these viruses are (is virii the plural of virus?) And there's nothing to do but ride them out. I hope you have increasingly 'good' days soon. My husband has had something, not 'long Covid' the doctor says, but he flakes every so often and has to have a rest - most unlike him.

I read your yesterday's post about little Jack, who's stolen your heart, and it brought tears to my eyes. Our Goldie has been gone well over a year and sometimes I still tear up thinking about her and her loving ways. They sure keep a hold on your heart, don't they, these four legged friends.

I know so many people who feel like that right now. It seems to be a bad February.

Have heard today that my doggie 'lovers' owners have returned from Thailand and are collecting him next week-end - so am hoping for one last meeting before he leaves my life for ever.

Thanks for the good wishes - feeling better each day
