Boing Day

Nearly over for another year.   At present the sky is pure blue from horizon to horizon,   There is a slight breeze and it is chilly.   After a poor night's sleep I am finding it hard to keep awake so am off to make a cup of hot choc and have a read - this will probably send me off to sleep so will be back later to write.

I didn't notice the missing X for ages. Boing - a trampoline noise.

I thought it was an error for “boring” day after Christmas. Bit of a quiet time!

So glad that you have your lovely blue skies to welcome in a new day and almost a new year. We've rain up here on the north coast of California but still much nicer than the snowstorms blasting to our east. We've managed through another earthquake and are looking forward to a brighter new year. Enjoy your cocoa and I think I'll go join you with a cuppa.

Sorry to hear you did not sleep well last night and hope you feel refreshed after a nap maybe, and have a better night.
Yes, almost over. We have cousins visiting next week so there is still something to celebrate, but as I am back to work at the same time, it will also feel like almost normal.

An afternoon nap is always wonderful as is cocoa. Hope you had sweet dreams and awake with enough energy to enjoy the rest of today and the evening.
We didn't get snow or the really frigid cold that the middle of this country did, but it has been plenty cold and our wind chill Friday night was -21*C. Brrrrr! It's slowly warming up somewhat and every little bit helps.

Hugs!

Nothing wrong with an afternoon nap, Pat. I have one most days and really am dragging by bedtime if I don't!

I am writing this the day after Boxing Day. That and Christmas Day were both lovely, in the company of some of my family who waited on me hand and foot. In spite of that, I feel quite tired today so must give myself and little talking to and get up and do something useful! I'm quite sure I shall have a nap this afternoon.
