Improving

I have made a leap forward in that I have completed - and got right - both The Times Sudoku and the crossword.   I am getting back on track.   Also I have read - and commented on - most of your posts over the last week or so so I really feel I am getting there.

For the first day this week we have been fog-free here;  no sun and very cold but  also clear.   Friend and neighbour H came round for an hour this afternoon and we had a pleasant chat about this and that.

I do so love blogland - now that I am not very mobile, I get such inspiration from all my friends - both those calling in on me and those of you writing in blogposts  -that it is good to be getting back to taking part.   If you haven't already done so and find a moment to press a few buttons, do please read John Going Gently's post for today.   Sometimes he paints such lovely word pictures and today is one of those days.

Hopefully see you all tomorrow.

Blogs can be a great source of comfort. Your personal blog style makes reading here feel like a visit to a friend.

That is such good news Pat and must be very comforting for you. I always check in to see if you have been able to post, and always enjoy what you have written.
Very cold down here too, but dry thank goodness. No fog but misty, though we couldn't see Wales today across the Severn.

You are an international treasure Pat, I hope that you know how many people have a better day after learning about your world.

With a bit of time, you are well on your way to full recovery and this is such good news. It's cloudy, raining and no sun. Surprisingly, it is 50+ degrees F and this is quite remarkable for November in Massachusetts. It is starting to look like Christmas with many people outlining their homes with LED lights and beautiful wreaths. Are you decorating as well?

I've never completed either! I feel very dim now!

Wonderful to hear the smile in your voice Pat.
Today is the first day of summer here in Australia. After an extremely wet and cold spring it is encouraging to see the sun shining. The farmers are all making hay at great speed and harvesting grain as well. Huge grain trucks rumble past on the main highway backwards and forwards to and from the silos. Hopefully the weather will be kind and enable them to get into paddocks and proceed with their harvest. As you would know, farming can be very tough sometimes.
So glad that you are feeling so much better. Jo

I find visiting blogs and getting visits is a friendly activity and have long enjoyed your posts. You inspired me a while ago with your mentions of a poetry group you were/are in and I have purchased quite a few books of poems. Glad you are better.

As always, you are a role model for anyone who wishes to age in grace and dignity, while not forgetting their sense of humour. Thank you for this upbeat post!
Like you, blogland is part of my day, and I do miss it if I can not read or write here for lack of time or access. And that's with me still being very mobile and out for work, walks or socialising quite a bit.

Lovely news that you got the puzzles done in the paper and you are feeling so much better.

I wish I could advise people that Blogging is Good For You as I'm sure it really is

So pleased that you are on the up! Is the crossword you do a " cryptic" one? I can never do those, although the " Pitcherwits" in my paper is partially easy cryptic!

Welcome back. Going Gently is always a good read as is your blog Pat. As Sue says more of us should write blogs.

Hello Blog Admin and anyone reading this , I was diagnosed of herpes and Hiv at the age of 24, and it runs my life until I came to know of Dr Itua herbal center- thankfully after drinking Dr itua herbal medicines for two weeks I'm completely cured which really helped me now I've had no limit how much I do massively. I had two jobs, one full time and one part time, have my horse to care for and would also help friends with their horses. Have since had to accept that I only have one job (to take care of my health) and still care for my horse with help... Dr Itua also cures all sorts of chronic illness and diseases like Herpes,Hiv/Aids,Cancer,Kidney Disease,Liver Diseases,Hepatitis,Lupus,HPV,Diabetes,COPD, And other health conditions anyone may have in their body. Dr Itua uses his herbal medicineTo cure those diseases.
Visit his herbal website www.drituaherbalcenter.com/shop or email drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com This is an illness I wouldn't wish on my enemy
