Monday

How quickly Mondays come round.   I blame it all on my weekly pill box.   Once a week, on a Thursday during the day, I refill my box of drugs for the week.   No sooner do I fill it up than it is empty again and Thursday again.

I have settled back in home again  and am getting back into my routine.   I am managing a walk every day but not far - just round the block.   I am hoping to work up to my longer walk again but not just yet.  It is a long time since I did my old walk round the estate now and I have got out of condition.

My new cleaner comes tomorrow morning so I shall have to be up and dressed nice and early ready for her arrival.  Another new face to get used to.

See you then.

Oh yes, I'm familiar with those pill boxes; I used to have to keep my mother's up to date and it seemed to be an unending chore. The weather seems to be improving little by little so you should be able to get a bit more walking in soon.

I use the weekly pill box also. I think it is the only way I can now keep track of which day it is! :)

It's so nice that you're back to your daily walks. Here in Ontario, we still have snow on the ground and I think most Canadians, (except for the skiers), are weary of it. It takes some of the joy out of a walk when there aren't any signs of spring. I'm so happy you're feeling yourself again.

Gently does it.

There's spring to bloom with nice weather for building up walking distance.

That's what I found in the days when I stocked boxes of drugs, Weave. Only joking! I hope you get on with your new cleaner.

A nice short daily walk in the sunshine sounds perfect. As the Spring blooms become more prolific and warmth increases, your walk will be even more enjoyable. I suspect your new cleaner will be as nice as the lady that cooks. I've just discovered "Great British Gardens," by Carol Klein on YouTube and think you might enjoy this. I'm loving it.

I help my husband with filling his pill box each week. It's a job we're happy to have done. A daily walk is a wonderful thing for you even if it is short!

Looking forward to your new cleaner, too. This is not a new carer, is it?

I too take a few pills daily. My last prescription was given for just TWO WEEKS. Ridiculous. I had a few words with my Doc', and the recent lot was for two months. Much better. I'll get him trained!

Goodness! Am I the only person here who has no daily (or weekly etc.) pills to take?
My Dad has one of those boxes, too; he would never be able to sort it out himself. It is just one more of the many jobs my Mum has to do for him now.
Anyway, Pat, I am glad you are taking up your daily walks again, provided it is not too wet and windy out there for you and Priscilla.

Seeing as your new cleaner is due, did you get a new vacuum and what type.

My Mum used to get her pills already sorted and sealed in a dosette box from the pharmacy. They delivered them. Not sure if it was weekly or monthly. Have you tried asking if this is a service that you could have?
Good that you are getting over your hospital visit...I was worried when you didn't post for a few days!

I do not take any pills. Mondays still come around very quickly. I bet the new cleaner wonders what there is to clean.

Only one pill a day for me, don't really want to go down the road of pill taking. Hope you and the new cleaner get on well, though you nature is very sweet.

Derek - my friends are getting me a vacuum tomorrow - my carere lent me hers today.

No Joanne - not a new carer - just a new cleaner and she is lovely - fitted in immediately.

Rachel's comment (as is often the case) makes me smile - she often says what I've been thinking; your house must be spotless, like a NASA clean room :-D

My daughter Natasha has a great mentality about pills...just take them and be thankful...life is sweet.
