Apologies

Sorry but I have a condition called Benign Essential Tremor which makes my hands shake and it is particularly bad today for some reason.   This means that every time I get so far with today's post my hands catch a key and the whole post disappears.   It is most fruatrating but having tried four times and still not managed it I have decided to not do a post today.   I will try putting one early tomorrow as the condition is always worst in the evening when I am tired.  Sleep well.

Oh beautiful Weaver, that must be so frustrating to try four times and lose those posts. I will be happy to read your next post whenever you can write it. Hugs from Terra.

Thank you for the email Weave. I am glad you enjoyed Quentin Blake programme. I have watched it twice.

Fret not, dear friend. We understand and admire your abilities at the amazing age you're reached and hope a few hiccups along the way don't annoy you too much.

Hugs!

There is another programme you might like, Giles Brandreth with Charles Dickens, which was on Channel 5 on December 18. If you haven't see it that would be another good one for you to find on your tv. It is a documentary about Charles Dicken's life story and very well made.

Four attempts is admirable. Better that you rest Weave. That is certainly giving it your best shot. The keyboard will still be there in the morning, as will your readers wanting you to look after yourself - enjoy some of those programmes. -Pam.

Don't apologise. We will wait for tomorrow and hope you have a good night's sleep tonight. This must be so frustrating for you. Night-night.

Frustrating, I know. I do look forward to your posts as I know others do but you should not feel obligated to post every day. Come online when you can easily and we will all be waiting with bated breath.

Hope you get a good rest tonight and come back fresh as a daisy tomorrow.

No apologies please dear Weaver. You are much admired by all of us here.
Get some rest, think good thoughts. Get a cozy, peaceful sleep.
Until next time then...
With best wishes,

There is never a need for you to apologize. I can imagine how frustrating that must have been. Sometimes I will type out a comment on a blog and it just disappears due to me hitting the wrong key. It's one of those frustrating things we all deal with sometimes. I hope you sleep well and know we all care about you and understand these things.

Hello, we share the same fate, ET. What a nuisance it is. We were 9 siblings, 6 have passed, but would you believe, we all had or have the same bloody affliction. Some say we inherited it from dad, but I don't recall his tremor. I tried the meds, but didn't care for the side effects. And so it goes

No apology required. I worked for many years with a colleague who had a tremor, so I understand to some extent how frustrating and annoying it can be. You manage extremely well to post every day and always find something interesting to write about. Wishing you all the best for the new year.

Oh, how frustrating for you. My darling aunt had the same affliction - she needed a straw to drink soup, or have a tea when she was out at Bridge. For many years I did most of her correspondence, and wrote all her cheques. Just signing her name required holding her pen hand firmly with her free hand and taking each letter slowly. There's no way she could cope with a typewriter, and the phone defeated her sometimes. She died before the turn of the century and there was no medication for it back then.

You manage admirably, and we can wait until you're feeling better. We'll raise a glass in your honour as we welcome in the New Year - in a few hours over here.

Much as we love your posts, you have no obligation to us. If you don't feel up to it, don't post.

Same as the others here have said, there is really no need for you to apologise, and we all know about your tremor. This is your blog, and you post whenever you can (and feel like it), not because it is somehow your "duty"!
I hope you have slept well and feel good today, on the last day of 2021. What a year!

Thank you for the Good wishes one and all. Once you know what the condition is it is surprising just how many people have it. In the days when I still went into supermarkets I would come across supermarket queues with folk in front or behind me who would remark on it and say they had it too. It is not dangerous - just annoying.

Happy New Year to you all - and a better one than this hopefully.

I am glad you are wide awake and bushy tailed this morning. As mentioned to you before, if you lose text by striking the wrong key, as we all do from time to time, don't forget that the backward curving arrow key on the menu bar at the left hand end of it will retrieve text that was lost.

A good suggestion from Rachel.
Glad you feel better in the mornings Weave.
