Blue sky again

and puffy white clouds - the District Nurse has been and has taken the bandages off my legs which were bad with Cellulitis.   Two courses of antibiotics and they are a lot better.   I have to contact my doctor if it reappears.

Isn't it sad how some people have a fatal flaw in their character?   I am thinking here of Diego Maradonna - as so many people said in the tributes yesterday -'probably the best footballer of all time' who had flaws which led to various  addictions which no doubt contributed to his early death. We have seen it before and we shall no doubt see it again -  a certain kind of brilliance which seems to go with an inability to cope with either the money or the fame.

There was a time when sixty was old - now it is the new forty.

How I wish for some fresh air.   It is five weeks today since I broke my hip and in that time, apart from standing by an open window and being pushed up my drive from the ambulance in a wheelchair on my return home I haven't tasted that beautiful Dales air.  The Physio comes again tomorrow to assess the situation so keep your fingers crossed for me.

See you tomorrow.

Percy is wondering where you are, maybe! May your winter be cozy and spring find you a way to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine!

Well, in my book, you are doing grand. An operation and two hospitals and home again safely is quite some achievement in these days of the dreaded C. Keep warm - spring WILL come!

I'm sure your positive attitude will help you to a speedy recovery. And I hope you're soon able to enjoy the fresh air. Cellulitis is miserable, praying it's all fully cleared up soon. X

A lot of very talented people seem to get addicted to cocaine and alcohol. It is bright but freezing here!

After what was a dreary grey morning, we have been blessed with some blue sky and sunshine. It certainly lifts the spirits at this time of year. Here's hoping you can get yourself some fresh air very soon. X

Could you have the back door open a little while to let in some fresh air? A change of air in the house is good.

Its pretty cold the air, window open for a short while?

Hope you can get out soon Pat.

Thanksgiving Day here, damp right now but warm - hoping we can eat outside with a few family members on daughter's deck - her partner is doing the turkey this year, he likes to cook - I'm not up to that anymore. . . . . .plus being a vegetarian I don't even eat it!!! Have made some dishes to take along, including vegetarian stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce, a lovely pecan pie, plus a bottle of bubbly!

Be well - stay happy - you are a real trooper!

Is there no way perhaps for you to step out onto a front porch? I don't know your living situation but if I were in need of fresh air, I could open my door & simply step outside for a few breaths. Maybe you can't do that. Anyway, happy recovery... it sounds like things are going well. ~Andrea xoxo

Wishing you warm sunshine, beautiful blue skies and NO wind on this marvelous Thanksgiving Day here in the States!!
Hopefully, you will be given the OK to simply take a short stroll ... with Percy ... in your garden. Perhaps someone can be on hand to give you an assist if it is needed! Or ... just stand at your threshold and take in a deep breath of the fresh air!
You are doing so well ... keep going down that road to full recovery!

I thought cellulitis was simply a dimpled effect that women got on the backs of their thighs, googling it however I see that it is a painful skin infection - poor you.
Gloomy, damp and cold here and not pleasant.
How did you fair in the Covid Tier allocation - being the highest infected place in the country here on Sheppey in Kent, we are in Tier 3 and it looks like being a long winter.

How wonderful to hear the Cellulitis has improved. I bet it felt good to get those bandages off. I can imagine how the days must drag on while you are recovering but time has a way of surprising us and before you know it you will be enjoying that wonderful Dale's air! I keep you in my thoughts dear Pat and I am thankful for your friendship!

Perhaps one has to have a balance, and Madonna's brilliance was balanced by some pretty low points in his life.
Glad to hear that you have progress.I hope you have an actual physio, not just a phone consultation like we have here.

So glad to hear that you're on the mend and that the cellulitis is abating. It's a thoroughly miserable (and dangerous) affliction.
Fresh air is one of the things we take for granted until we can't get it. Could someone help you to sit by the door for a while?

Thank you, Derek, for having done the research - I thought the same as you, but was of course quite sure Pat means something else than what I associate with the term cellulitis.

Pat, fresh air and sunshine are so good for us, as you know; hopefully, you will be able to have at least some of it soon again. Especially in winter we really need to make the most of those precious few hours of daylight, when and how best we can.

With the cellulitis nearly resolved, hopefully the physio will work with you on mobility. With mild sunny days it would be great for you to be outside in the sunshine and Dale air. Surly your carers see the benefit of a bit of time outside, I'd certainly ask the question...The worse is they say no, and I'd ask to set a date... In an ever-so-nice-way you are setting a goal.

Yes, you are right about the footballer--and so many other people, brilliant in their fields but unable to control their attraction to that which will do them in. Perhaps mediocrity has some small reward. Although, I have known many with no brilliance or genius succumb in the same way. I have often thought that there must be some gene, or some brain chemical that determines who has such tendencies and who does not.

I hope your recovery continues to go well. And that you will be out in your garden in the spring, enjoying all those lovely flowers and bulbs you've been putting in.

Fingers firmly crossed! Perhaps on a fine day someone could take you for a walk in a wheelchair to allow you some fresh air, until you are strong enough to take Percy for a walk. It has been a very cold but lovely day here. and I am hoping for another tomorrow. This evening it is quite foggy so who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I can understand missing fresh air. I could hardly stand it in the hospital where everything seems to be sealed up tight. Window air will have to do for now but one day you will be out and about getting lungs full. I hope the nurse said to phone the doctor the minute you see any signs of the cellulitis. Speed is everything with the darn infection.

I sympathize. I go sit on my porch often, just to smell outdoors.

Ouch. - cellulitis, you didn’t need that! Another hurdle to overcome. I do hope you will be allowed out with Percy very soon, and that the weather cooperates so you can enjoy some fresh air. You are doing so well though. Onwards and upwards!

My wife was watching some breakfast show yesterday, on which was 'Gazza' paying tribute to Maradona. One couldn't help thinking that they were two of a kind.

Good to hear your legs are healing. Hoping you may soon feel some sunshine on your face and breathe the fresh Dale air.

I had cellulitis on one leg back in October. I have had it before, but not as bad as it was this time. I needed 2 rounds of antibiotic and some antibiotic ointment for it and I became rather sick and had terrible chills during the time I was sick with it. I felt so bad from the infection and chills that I spent most of 6 days under my blanket feeling sick. I would make myself get up and walk around several times a day and night and between each time all I wanted was to be semi-sleeping under my blanket. It does get better, thank God. I am over it now. Still have ointment on hand in case I can't reach my doctor the same day it may appear again.

I am happy to see that you are posting again. I hope that each new day brings you more strength and ability to do more that you want to. Take care

Before I began Doctor Aziba natural penis enlargement Product I measured 4 Inches in erect length, and 3 inches in erect girth. While flaccid I measured 3.4 Inches long. I began using his product, slightly skeptical I admit, and just 2 weeks later I was very happy with my progress. I measured 7.5 inches erect length and 6.5 inches erect girth, and 5.5 inches flaccid length.
