Trouble

I am having intermittent problems with my blog page, so although I have nothing much to say today I am writing this post while I actually manage to get on to my right page.  Sometimes what comes up is the 'blogs I follow' all in the wrong order with the ones who haven't posted coming at the top and with a note from Google half filling the screen asking me where I want to file them.

So - here goes with a rather flimsy blog post - very cold here.   Everyone who passes the window is in their Winter clothes and there is a gale blowing.  A friend and her husband called to collect some rocks I wanted rid of.   They are building a rockery and were looking for some, so I was very pleased to say good bye to the rocks.  Then Tess and I walked and who should we meet but my gardener and he is coming shortly to fit a new piece of fence and to empty my pots for me so that I can begin to think what to plant for Summer.

Two slices of ham left from my God-daughter's visit and six Jersey Royals so they will be for my lunch along with a mixture of baby broad beans (sorry Rachel), peas, cauli and broccoli.  Time I was getting round to preparing it so this is it for now.   Should anything spectacular happen later in the day I will be back to report it, providing I can get on to the right place again.

How very frustrating for you. I hope things will settle down.
Jersey Royals - my favourite potatoes.
It's pretty chilly here today but bright with lots of big white clouds. I have had my morning walk to buy a paper and am trying to decide what to do with myself for the rest of the day. Will I be good and do something useful, or will I be naughty and just play with needle and thread?!

I am hoping that nothing spectacular happens here today.

It has gone very cold here, too, with snowfall possible at heights of around 500 m - that's not us, but we are off tomorrow for a week in the mountains, and our route could very well take us to snowy regions.
Your lunch sounds good! I found Jersey pearls at the supermarket in Ripon in March, and we loved them. They were really tiny, hence the name pearls.

Same problem here with Blogger going gaga with the sites followed list from time to time. Breakfast today was accompanied by a hail shower.

I think Blogger were doing some adjustments this morning. It was a general problem with blog lists doing that and only html text. Well at least the broccoli is just broccoli.

So annoying when Blogger doesn’t work properly, I’ve lost dozens of comments I’ve tried to make on people’s posts, they just disappear. And I’m sick of having to prove I’m not a robot.

Hope you have enjoyed your lunch. Sounds tasty. I have just arrived home from my morning shift volunteering at the Wildlife Trust gift shop. Beautiful bright sunny morning but so very cold. Lots of visitors about, which was good for the shop. I hope it warms up soon though.

Thanks for telling me about Blogger Rachel - shalln't worry now.

Heather. If playing with needle and thread produces those exquisite books then I would hardly call it 'playing' - I am green with envy each time you show us one.

John - comforting to hear you have the same problem.

I am having cable and internet problems, so very frustrating.
It is cooling off here also but not like you. Sun blue skies and temperatures in the high 80's to low 90s
Summer is knocking on the door here.

cheers, parsnip

Horrible weather here today. Freezing North wind and hail and heavy rain showers but a small sign of the sun now and again. I'm glad I wasn't going very far

It's been the sort of day here which would be very welcome at the beginning of March, but rather disappointing for May Bank Holiday.

I'm with John on disappointing weather - will it ever warm up?

Yes, too cold by half here, and tomorrow I hope it is warmer.

Well we share the same weather, so not exactly holiday weather but the rain is good for the garden. No problems with Blogger, but then it might happen when I am not there.

I loved the comment regarding your six new potatoes. It reminded me of my mum, after her and my dad were on their own she used to count out the new potatoes, sort of six for me and seven for dad, every time. It always made me smile as she stood there scraping them, bless her. So thank you for reminding me, we sometimes forget these little things and you have made me remember a happy and funny moment. Thank you Love Andie xxx

Reading about your lunch, I realize it is lunch time here.
I got up and made a salad. :)

Ditto! I’m trying to post from my holiday and wasting a lot of time sorting blogger issues.

You're getting spammed. You should go to 'posts' in blog settings and check for other spammers attached to older posts. They seem to come in droves,

Sorry Gwil but my computer knowledge is not up to following your instructions.

Thanks everyone.
