It is cold, it is raining and it is thoroughly dismal. I am for some reason not feeling all that well today. I have taken Tess for one walk but found it difficult so shall try and get hold of my son to take her on another one. Yesterday friends took her on three very long walks so she is well-exercised.

- I am a widow for the second time - first marrriage 39 years, second marriage 23 years - both very happy. My second marriage was to a farmer and when he died the farm was sold. I now live in the nearby small town on the edge of Wensleydale in The Yorkshire Dales. My beloved Border Terrier died a couple of years ago - I still miss her but as I am 90 and need carers I shalln't get another I have one son,who lives nearby with his wife, three grandchildren, one step grandchild, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren..Life is good.

sorry you're not feeling well. We sometimes miss the odd day with border terrier, and he seems to regard it as a chance for an extra snooze (tho he's always pleased to go out the next day). Look after yourself and hope tomorrow is better. cathy

Cold, rainy and dismal is enough to make anybody feel unwell Pat, you'll probably feel much better tomorrow.

Hope you feel better tomorrow. The sun has shone here all day and that does make you feel better after the dismal weather you had.
Wish the sun had shone here it has poured more or less all day andis still pouring now at almost ten at night.
Grim day here too, very cold for May. Look after yourself.
Hope you will soon feel better. It's cold down here too and so miserable for May. I often think it is a cruel month when we are hopeful of better weather, only to be disappointed. I said to someone this morning 'It's quite warm today if you are wearing a warm trousers, a sweater, scarf and coat'!

A tiny bit of frost here yesterday; thank goodness I covered all my Tomato (and other) plants.
