My best friend is beneath a beautiful oak tree in a quiet corner of the Woodland Burial Plots in the New Forest. She will be surrounded by Bluebells now too.

Thank you all.
A lovely place in which to rest.
Thank you for posting this image. It is good to see the place where the farmer rests, in land that knew and cherished and where he was truly at home. When my turn comes I hope to be buried with my parents only a few miles away in the next dale.
How very lovely.
There really could not be a better place for a farmer to be laid to rest. His ashes becoming part of the very land he loved and tended. xx
