Farewell to Poet in Residence.

Gwil has closed down his site as something has happened to his blog.   My skills are so limited that I don't understand exactly what has happened, but I do so hope he will find a way of returning - I shall miss you Gwil.  Do hope this is not the last we hear of Poet in Residence.

These words almost sound like the end of a poem:-

Thanks to everyone who came here to play.
I've closed all the gates.
I'll try and find a way back . . .

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even know that he had gone.

Hello Pat, I'm here via Bard on the Run to visit you. My main blog is closed because 'they' (whoever they are) were bringing it down it piece by piece. I've had attacks before but nothing on this scale. Or with this sophistication. Closing it may just have saved it. That's the hope. Aiming to be back with you before too long with some kind of blog . . . it remains to be seen what.

I noticed that he'd closed down. What the hell is Mr Blogger up to?

I have had many problems too, some of which took quite a long time to right. They always said it was something I had done or my computer when it never was. After time, it would just right itself.

I wanted to comment at Poet in Residence's site, but cannot since I am not a member of his team...I wanted to share something from a blog I've been reading for years. She said, "About the links at the sidebar, I have no idea where they went. I haven't changed a thing. They are not even showing up in "Design". Since Blogger went to Google+, a lot of strange things have happened and now to ask a question to "Help" or even on the Blogger forum, I have to accept all of Google+. So I'll wait a week or so and see if it pops back up on its' own. I use that column daily.........

Added Note: I was finally able to get through to the Blogger forum which doesn't require Google+. Apparently other blogs are having the same problem and they are looking to see if the links can be restored. "

Sounds as though Gwil's removal may only be temporary. I do hope so.

Yes, I also hope this situation with Gwil's blog is only a hiccup.
