Tagging.

I have been tagged by Geraldine of The Potters House, Penketh to answer some questions. I don't really like tagging and thought it had more or less died out in blogland. But I did read Gerry's answers and found that at the end of them I felt I knew a little more about her. So for that reason I am answering her questions here. Hopefully, at the end of my answers you will know a little more about me (that is if you want to!)

What would I do if I won the lottery? Well, as I have never done the lottery I couldn't win it. I have a fear of winning a lot of money because it would be such a worry. Nice little Premium Bond £25 suit me fine.

Where would I like to holiday this year? Newfoundland and Labrador was to be our destination as we both adore Canada. But my health will not allow flying so we are going to Northumberland instead - near to us and yet a county we barely know. Nice hotel, lovely beaches - suit us fine.

Top of bucket list? Don't know what this means - shows what a country bumpkin I am!

Last book read - The Snow Child - wonderful. Read the review a few posts ago.

Earliest memory - seeing the Hindenberg airship.

Favourite film - loved Mamma Mia, loved Most Exotic Marigold Hotel - favourite tends to be the last one I saw.

Would you like to change your name? Quite happy with the one I have got thank you.

Did I enjoy school? By and large yes I did although my parents were not well off and I was landed in a rather 'posh' school because I won a scholarship. But it certainly set me off on the right lines.

What would you be if you could be anything? Myself, right now.

Favourite smell? Quite like bacon frying; honeysuckle; new babies; cowslips.

City versus country? Did a post on this a couple of weeks ago - I have been lucky enough to live in both - country now though and wouldn't like to return to city living.

If anyone who blogs with me would like to try these questions - I would love to read their answers but I won't presume you want to do so by naming individuals. Thanks Gerry for giving me the idea.

I don't mind boring you.

Lottery - I would move my mum and dad back from France. They have been trying to sell their house for a year now and really want to come home, so I would just buy them a house so they can.

Holiday - Dorset, I've not really been there much and would like to.

Bucket List - Things to do before I die, I'm 46 I want to live a whole life yet, touch wood. Watch my all my children be adults only one is at the moment.

Last Book - I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchet, just the right amount of humour or and thoght provocation.

Earliest memory - Bit wierd, I was on holiday with my parents and dad's parents. My parents had to return home for my mum's dad's funeral and for some reason I remember massive amounts of that day, drawing fish on the sand, my first coke float, the hotel owner that looked exactly like Frank Muir. I was under 2 I think.

Film - Love Actually, It makes me laugh out loud and cry real tears and Jacobs Ladder.

Love my name, It's not a pretty name but I've had it all my life and it's who I am.

School - hated it, didn't make the best of it. Wish I had.

If I could be anything - A Costume maker for a film company or a theatre or a sewing teacher.

Favourite Smell - Lemon Balm leaves just crushed up in my hand and ground cardamom seeds.

Country every time. I live in the town (actually Chelmsford CITY as of a couple of weeks ago) but if I could choose it would be the countryside a few miles away from the sea.

Can I join in?
I never by a lottery ticket either but if I did win a large amount I'd share it among my children and grandchildren and have a bit of a splurge myself, and give some to charity.
Holidays - Dorset, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Pembrokeshire, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Orkney, etc.!!
Last book read - Out of the Valley by Ronald Blythe.
Earliest memory - my grandfather playing Fly Away Peter with me.
Favourite film - The King's Speech.
No, I wouldn't change my name.
I enjoyed school apart from maths lessons!
If I could be anything I would like to be the person who could solve some of the world's problems.
Favourite smell: Lavender, newmown hay, freshly baked bread.

I missed a couple out!
I don't know what a bucket list is either, and
I would choose to live in the country - I'm a country bumpkin.

Favourite smell - rain after a dry spell
City v country - country

That was fun :)

I won't answer the questions to the tag but I enjoyed reading yours and getting to know you a bit better. Although I have to say that I feel I know you well enough through reading all your posts. You are not that much of a mystery anyway nor do I think that you want to be. xox

Top of bucket list? Do not have one

Last book read - Everyday in Tuscany - just the thing for last week and the rain

Earliest memory - seeing my grandfather from my playpen

Did I enjoy school? Mostly, I loved it.

What would you be if you could be anything? Exactly how I am

Favourite smell? New baby, cinnamon and sugar

City versus country? Country, I think, though I would like to try a small town.
