Three cheers!!!

Just got my driving licence back today - no time to blog - off out with the farmer to learn to drive all over again after a nine month break (and a new car in between). See you tomorrow.

That's fantastic. It must have been difficult not being able to drive.

Wonderful news Pat - you must be so pleased. Looking forward to seeing your new blog - good title - the tasters are a great idea, and I love the word verification. I will let you know when my new blog is set up. Happy driving!

Great news. Life is so much easier when you are not dependent upon other people.

Watch out for horses, cyclists, tractors, ramblers, dogs, hedgehogs, sheep, cows, dray wagons, milk tankers, rally drivers, motor cyclists, police cars, fire engines, shoppers, market traders, breakdown trucks, fallen trees, potholes, hump back bridges, level crossings and farm entrances concealed - and you'll surely be OK ;).
Now belt up!

Wonderful news Pat! Go, girl, go, it is like being released from prison or finding your feet after a long illness. So good to know that you can go where and when you want to and drive your friends around again.

Thank you for all your good wishes. I have already written this but it disappeared into the thin air of the blogsphere.
Thank you for the tips - especially Gwilym - I think you just about covered everything!
I have been up to Tesco this morning with the farmer in the passenger seat and he feels I am getting back into my stride although he detected a trace of nervousness.
This afternoon, after I have finished phase one of my project drawing (see my new blog weaverslearningcurve) I shall go to the library under my own steam - so wish me luck!

Thank you for all the good wishes and all the warnings (Gwilym I think you have covered everything) - as well as being able to drive again I am also pleased that the neurologist thinks I am safe to do so.

I have been up to Tesco this morning with the farmer in the passenger seat - I got told off for driving on the white line in the middle of the road, but forty years being married to someone who was always telling me to get out of the gutter when I was driving makes the habit hard to break.

I feel quite confident, although the farmer felt I was a little bit nervous. This afternoon, after I have finished my first drawing project lesson (see my other blog weaverslearningcurve) if you want to check my progress there, I shall drive to the library under my own steam.

A little bit of nerves is a good thing!!!
I say a prayer staring out everyday, and then try to stay in the 'present' when I am driving- Have fun!
