Recently a friend borrowed a bottle of beer to feed the snails in her yard and some other "critter" drank it!Leilani Schuck Weatheringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04517660684870960794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-36696858217997943692013-08-24T08:33:06.874-07:002013-08-24T08:33:06.874-07:00I can live with spiders, snakes, alligators, but n...I can live with spiders, snakes, alligators, but not snails. Years ago we used to have slugs which I think are far worse. I can step on a snail, but a stepping on a slug just doesn't seem to work! Thankfully for some reason, the slugs seem to have vanished also. I wouldn't mind sharing my garden with one or two but when they invade the greenhouse and mow off an entire crop of seedlings overnight, well then I don't feel at all friendly.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-23558667359678542452013-08-23T11:33:46.867-07:002013-08-23T11:33:46.867-07:00I was descending a steep and narrow mountain path ...I was descending a steep and narrow mountain path only last summer (2012) when I chanced to meet a snail on its way up!
