I find it sad when people say they are bored and don't know what to do with themselves. I ran over a cat once and it was very distressing and when I asked the owner why they allowed their cat to run the risk of being run over, they defended quite strongly their right to put the cat out every day unprotected. Are the handrails woo...Nice to read about your day. Are the handrails wooden? If so the wasps are taking away a thin top layer, stain and all to build nests. You can apply chemical stuff to deter them.
