We can't do much beyond our limited sphere of personal influence, and worrying ourselves sick won't help one bit.<br />I still like to know what is going on - at least the most important things which also reflect on my own life - but I have a talent for cold-bloodedness and ignoring things I feel are not my concern. I have had nasty remarks from people close to me about this in the past, but that is me; it keeps me (relatively) sane.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-13541185371187094792018-06-03T11:40:52.606-07:002018-06-03T11:40:52.606-07:00Sometimes the stress is just too much - we do what...Sometimes the stress is just too much - we do what we can, when we can, and then have to take care of ourselves. The US is in such a mess and no one seems able to stop the run-away train. Yesterday the idiot's lawyers declared, in writing, that the president of the US can do anything he wants, meddle in other parts of the government, break ANY law and he can't be held accountable because he IS the law - what a load of ---- - not true at all, but they think that they are so powerful that if they say something it becomes the law - one day they will find out different - but in the mean time we suffer terribly as a nation (well, not his rich cronies, but the rest of the people - and especially the poor). It is a sad time for the US - but we carry on when we can.JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12621061028973446378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-280582018791422638.post-90391787056497257052018-06-03T05:52:43.431-07:002018-06-03T05:52:43.431-07:00I get so stressed out from all of the alarming thi...I get so stressed out from all of the alarming things that tRump is doing here in the States that I do no news breaks....you can't imagine the daily stress many of us suffer from.
