Monday and the sun

Only for a short while but what a difference the sun makes.   After a few days when the dull, dismal and mostly wet and windy weather really got me rather low for the first time since lockdown began, I suddenly feel much more upbeat today.  Tiny bits of blue sky are showing through the clouds here and there and in the garden the pink daisies are coming into bloom and the buds on the pinks are beginning to open.   Forty minutes on Zoom with friends this afternoon has also lifted my mood - a laugh is always good isn't it?

I was hoping my gardener would come today - it hasnt rained so far and as my lawn slopes quite steeply it drains quickly and is probably dry enough to mow.   It is now more like a meadow after seventeen days since it was cut.   The vetch, the buttercups and a tiny yellow flower I researched and named last year but have forgotten the name of this year are taking over.   I almost wish I had the courage to leave it as a 'meadow' - but alas I haven't.

Round the block with Percy after lunch today - the fresh air felt good and the wind was only light.   The postman left a parcel - new trousers to try on - shall do this at bed time (or first thing in the morning) - the effort of getting undressed and dressed again is just too much these days.   And speaking of Percy reminds me that I have left him outside the garage doors and need to bring him in - I have left him out all night a few times and he is rather tempting so best to put him in his stable.   See you tomorrow.

Great that you are feeling a bit brighter.I had a bad day yesterday and felt really down.I feel better today but have not had any sun.We had hoped to have friends visit in the garden but it is too cold to sit outside.

Bright and sunny here too this afternoon, and it does help, even if I only go as far as the greenhouse. We are still only allowed to travel 5 miles here in Wales unless it is essential, and that won't take us to the beach or to any of our walking spots. Still, it doesn't seem to stop people driving from Coventry and other places to go for a walk on West Wales beaches.

Delivery of parcels. My postman just rings the doorbell and then stands down the driveway till I come out. But my M&S parcel was unceremoniously chucked over the fence at some time either yesterday or today. But the return of the sun is welcome.

That sounds like a good day - a bit of sun, a walk and a chat & laugh with friends; good to hear it has brought your spirits back up.
It was chilly and grey all day here, but right in time for my after work walk the sun came out.

A bit of sun can brighten a person can't it? It's nice that you and Percy had a walk and soaked up a little of the sun. I'm sure your Zoom chat was nice too. We have had some quite hot weather here the past week, but then it is June now and time for the heat.

I hope the new trousers are a comfortable fit and that Percy is stabled for the night. You wouldn't want him wandering off, would you?

It was good to have fair weather for a bike ride again after the last week. I've another 6-7 mile route worked out for tomorrow, and then it looks like back to hiding indoors for a few days.

The sunshine has been wondefull, that's for sure.

I want to thank you for your book suggestions. The last 2 I've read were your recommendations--Mid-Winter Break and The Chilbury Ladies Choir. Both excellent reads, and I enjoyed them very much, Mid-Winter Break for its characters and descriptions, and the Ladies Choir for the intriguing way the story is told and the description of the activities of a small village in wartime. Great reading! I just ordered The Offing and am looking forward to starting it.

It was warm here yesterday, and I managed to mow an acre or so. Then the skies turned dark, and it rained again.

Wish we had some of your rain. Our weather today will be 99 degrees F. Been that way for a while. My tomatoes have no hope to produce fruit from the blossoms. Very early for this much heat. But everything is still green, so that is a blessing. Hope those new trousers suit you well.

Thanks everyone for responding. The sky is turning darker and rain is forecast - we still need it urgently so shouldn't complain.

I was searching for loan to sort out my bills& debts, then i saw comments about Blank ATM Credit Card that can be hacked to withdraw money from any ATM machines around you . I doubted thus but decided to give it a try by contacting { cyberhackingcompany@gmail.com} they responded with their guidelines on how the card works. I was assured that the card can withdraw $5,000 instant per day & was credited with$50,000,000.00 so i requested for one & paid the delivery fee to obtain the card, after 24 hours later, i was shock to see the UPS agent in my resident with a parcel{card} i signed and went back inside and confirmed the card work's after the agent left. iI’m lauriel from New York, United States. I lost my job a few months back after my divorce with my wife. I tried everything positive to make sure I took good care of my kids but all failed, and I was in debt which makes everything worse. I was kicked out of my home and i had to live with my neighbor after pleading with her to allow me to stay with her for some days while I figured out how to get a home which she agreed to, but no one was willing to help anymore. I bumped into this page from google and I was excited about this, then I contacted the hackersBill Dean. I had just $200, so I pleaded with them to help me because of my condition but they never accepted. I believed in this, so I managed to pawn a few things and got $500. I ordered the $10,000 card and I got my card delivered to me by Ups 4 days later. I never believed my eyes! I was excited and upset as well, I managed to withdraw $2000 on the ATM and $2500 the second day. I went to Walmart and a grocery store and bought a couple of things for $3000. The card got blocked the third day and I contacted them and I was told it's a mistake from my end. I’m so happy, I have started all over again and have a good apartment with my kids you can contact him through is via email (globalatmcardhackingservice@gmail.com)or his whatsap contact (+1 301-887-5071)
