Cut and blow dry

Well the big day has come and Tess has had her cut and blow dry.   Top two photographs are the before of course and bottom two after.   Sorry they are not good photographs but time was short and how ever much I tried to get her to look at the camera I failed to catch her.   However, I am sure you get the general idea.   She certainly looks (and smells) one hundred percent better.   When S and T took her for a walk later this afternoon (in her smart jacket, which S bought for her sometime ago) she trotted along very proudly.

I'm sure she needed her longer coat during the wintry weather but she does look neat and trim now!

Wow, sweet Tess looks like a pup again! Just goes to prove older women don't need long hair, haha! I was growing mine out until my new driver's license photo scared the heck out of me last Oct. I soon made an appointment with my stylist and am back with my just below ear classic bob!

Amazing transformation for Tess. I wouldn't recognize her as the same dog.

Okay, this is so funny because I took my dog, Buddy, for the same cut today. Your before and after pictures are exactly what Buddy looked like. But Buddy is not happy and is totally ignoring me for taking him to the groomers. He'll get over it sooner or later. Such characters our sweets pets are - personality galore. Glad she smells better, but I hope she doesn't get cold.

She's beautiful - before AND after! What a sweet little girl she is!

I love the pretty curls, but the summer cut will be cool for her in the heat. I’m glad she enjoys wearing her jacket. Our Goldie was so embarrassed she slunk around!

I thought it was two different dogs at first! She is beautiful in both sets of pictures! I bet she feels better too!

Very smart. I wish I could get my new pup to sit still for a photo.

Lovely, - I will introduce Bruce to her pictures and he will know how fine and handsome he is going to look after having a bath and a haircut.

She looks beautiful. I am reminded that I could do with a haircut. Take good care of yourselves I am so pleased you have Tess for company. Isn't it great news about Cro and his new friend Billy x

Hi Weaver, just caught up on your posts. My hubby is in hospital recovering from a heart attack. His hospital doctor is a young woman with blue hair and tattoos and dresses to match. We,ve had to get over it. A kinder, more professional doctor you could not find. I thought of you and your workman. Doesn’t Tess look sweet.

She looks adorable in both sets of photos and I wish I looked as well groomed and lovely as she does, after I have been to the hairdresser!

Tess is adorable and such a beauty. I had a Border one of the best breeds ever.
Hold a treat by the camera she will look up.

cheers, parsnip

Yes Tom - it is the same dog I assure you.

I spoke to my vet and she says Border Terriers have such a thick coat that they are still warm enough after being cut. She also discouraged me from putting a coat on her - she says no dog really needs one - they have a good coat of their own and they do tend to sweat under a coat and that is bad for them.

Thanks for the flattering comments - I could read them to her if only she understood.
