A Day and a Half.

Yes, to say I have been busy all day is an under statement.   Thursday is always 'Hair Day', so always an early start.   But, after trying on friend P's leather jacket I wanted one (nay - desired one is not too strong a word).   It came yesterday - I adore it but I have to be realistic - it is a tad too small.   I was out when the parcel came yesterday, so first of all I had to go down to our Post Office to collect the parcel.   After hair there was a bit of shopping to do (friends coming for a meal tomorrow night) and then it was home to try on the jacket - then a call to the supplier and a promise of a replacement a size bigger meant a re pack of the jacket and another trek into town to post it recorded delivery.

Home again I did a load of washing, watered the plants, made soup for tomorrow evening, and am just about to sit down and watch the next round of the Best Home Cook with Mary Berry.   I think I have the perfect excuse to put my feet up.

I think so! Would love to see the jacket. I have never had a leather jacket and have a great hankering....

You don't need an excuse for putting your feet up, Pat! A very busy day you've had indeed. I was much lazier today, as it was a holiday in my part of Germany. Apart from emtying the bins and going for a run late afternoon I did not leave the house.
Hopefully, the next size jacket won't be too big. Yes, please show us a picture of it!

A photo of the jacket you shall have indeed if it fits alright.
Penhill, we really must meet up for coffee one day - why not suggest a day we could do it.

I have just watched best home cook too.
I'm really enjoying it because the challenges are interesting
and it's not over hyped.

Next thing will be the motorbike. It's a crazy world up in those Dales.

I'm highly amused by the biker and jacket image, Weaver Pat.

One of the reasons I don't shop online is the tiresome business of repacking and returning if it isn't quite the right, fit or colour etc.

Definitely need to see a photo of the jacket. The biker's comments made me chuckle.

Your day's make me feel quite tired! Hope the next jacket fits well and that you enjoy wearing it. I hate shopping for clothes and get so frustrated and exhausted. I shop online quite a lot but am in the process of losing weight and am waiting to feel confident enough to order some new trousers in a size smaller.
