Hello! I'm back!!

Hello bloggers all - I am back from holiday and cannot wait to start blogging again. Have been away in Canada (Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa) and then into the States (Albany, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York and Washington) -saw so many fascinating things that I expect will eventually end up on my blog, when my jet-lagged brain has sorted itself out. One of the highlights was meeting Elizabeth of About New York! We met and spent the morning together in New York - it was such fun actually meeting a real blogging friend. Today it is back to earth with a bump - washing, sorting out the currency, making friends all over again with my dog (who has been in Kennels) and getting over the jet lag and the effects of air conditioning, which are both pretty dire. With a bit of luck I shall begin blogging "proper" tomorrow. In the meantime, thank you all you loyal bloggers for visiting me and remaining loyal - I have missed you too. See you tomorrow.

Welcome back, Ms. Weaver! We've missed you. Can't wait to hear of your travels. What did you think of Philadelphia? My daughter lives there and I visit at least once a year.

Welcome home Weaver - I have missed you. Had a wonderful holiday some years ago now in Seattle/Vancouver but have never been to the east coast. Looking forward to hearing all about it and glad you had a good trip.

Good to see you back, Weaver!
I bet Tess is delighted - or is she sulking at you for leaving her?

Hello again, glad you had a good trip. I hope Tess is OK. Ours loves kennels so much, she's like one of those children who adore school and make their parents feel awful for it! (she likes the company I think)

I left this answer over at WM, but just in case you don't see it...

1 stick of butter = 113.5 gr or 1/4 pound or 4 ounce or 1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons or 14 teaspoons. Let me know how it turns out! :^)

Welcome Back Weaver!
Glad you had such a cool trip, even visiting my birth-city of Philadelphia. When I was growing up it was browner and more industrial than today - more like Liverpool than Copenhagen. Today it's the Athens of the east; and London's sister city don't ya know. Oh well, I'll muddle throught here in Waikiki. So glad you will be sharing your blog-goodies with us soon....Aloha
