Rain, rain, rain!!

We have had over four inches of rain here this month. The beck has split itself into two becks, the garden is under water, and it is still raining. On the walk this morning (a very wet walk) Tess - the Border pup - went missing!! Found her at a rabbit hole after a ten minute search in pouring rain - David has gone off pups!!

I do so hope you don't have to start swimming for higher ground, with the rain we are having this weekend.

What a little darling, Tess is!

Best wishes,

Annie

Sorry to hear about so much rain. The weather certainly is strange this year. We went from an unbearably long winter into summer of which we got a whole 3 weeks. August was a record wet month. We do have nice weather now though. Perhaps we'll get a long Indian Summer :)

I think we must have had four inches of rain last night! On this morning's walk Tessa Buttons paddled in 'new' streams where the water came up to the top of her legs.

I know you said you - or your Tess - has toys designed for chewing. I wonder if you've seen the doggie ring toy made of rope? It's two toys in one - there's a squeaky 'cow's' head attached to one bit of the rope ring and a 'tail' for chewing attached to another bit. It keeps Tessa happy for ages and when she's tired of chewing we play tug of war with it.

Good luck over the next few days. More to come, alas.
